2009... welcome to our Life!

I've been away for quiet some time. Been busy with things around me. By the way, last January we went to Ski resort and had some fun skiing. I am not a ski pro but I enjoyed the experienced.

Last February we also has a blast of celebration. To name a few we have celebrated my 28th birthday, our first valentine's date together as husband and wife and our 6th Anniversary. February truly is a month of the heart. I savor all His blessings and guidance all through out my life.

I would like to share what we did last whole month of February.
1. Had my first short hair cut
2. Lunch Date at Lucille's SmokeHouse BBQ
3. Went to Desert Botanical Garden
4. Dinner at Teharu Revolving Sushi Bar(Japanese Restaurant)
5. Had a go cart at Fiddlesticks
6. Went to Fountain Hill for the Tallest Fountain in the World and the Hot Air Balloon Festival(Though we were not able to see the Hot air Balloon because we came late to the place)
7. Hubby brought me to His office
8. Had our first bowling game
9. Dinner at Ouback Steakhouse
10. Strolling and sight-seeing in Papago Park

That was the wrapped up of our activities last February.

Month of March came. I can say that it is like a roller coaster ride. Too many challenges to overcome. At first it's like a never ending chaos. Our mind, heart, body and even soul are put into test. We came to a point that we can barely eat. We were engulfed by our worries. We were in our mix emotions. Luckily, Through this time, hubby and I stick together, we prayed together and always had each other strength.

But there were time also that we fight and shout to each other. I even had a moment that I don't know what to think. Had my depressed time. My faith became weak and almost lost my trust to HIM and to my hubby. I don't even know what to believe, don't have a job yet, still seeking and sometime, I am tired seeking and applying. Woah... sigh... and my loneliness will burst into tears and sometimes to my hubby..

But now, I am alright. I am still a lucky girl after all. Though Hubby and I sometimes fight, we always kiss and make-up. I can say that it adds strength to our relationship and it also help us to be strong. Also, it makes our faith to Almighty God more intense. He truly had a wonderful plan for us, He always make sure that we are safe all this time. We've cross that one bridge of test through HIS loving support and guidance. We will never give up. I will never give up. I know there are a lot of Good things and challenges that we will encounter along the way. We are happy and strong to face it because God Almighty will always be with us.

For all the happy and tough times, GOD Almighty, we THANK YOU.. Let your will be done unto us...

till my next blog....

My first Cupcake and our little Bethlehem

Today I finally baked my first cupcake and chocolate cake ever. Actually, I bought the ingredients two months ago and I already prepared it in our kitchen last Monday but unfortunately, I am always lazy doing so. Hubby triggered me in baking it when he came home yesterday night from work and he is asking me "Asan na yung cake ko.. joke ka naman eh...", so when I heard him said that, I felt a little disappointment on myself because I promised to him that I will bake cake for him and until that day I am not yet doing what I told him!. Then I immediately forget my laziness and decided to baked it yesterday hehe... I don't know, but I always have a passion in cooking and baking. Now that my hubby is very supportive in this hobby of mine, I am very glad to have him always be the first to taste my craft of work. hehe... hopefully, in the long run, I will improve and I can make use of this hobbies to put up a business or two.. hehe... day dreaming... but who knows, one of this day, I will eventually vent into cooking business... and be successful with it. hehehe... I know in my heart, there's a place for me in this kind of work.
Then hubby arrived from work last night, and when he saw and had a tasted with my cake, voila! he really appreciated it and said that my cake was even tastier and delicious from the one we usually bought in the supermarket. hehe.. touched ang lola mo.. hehe... he even gave me this big hug and sweet kiss.. smuck smuck smuck.. hehe.. wink wink wink!..
Then during the day, I also set-up our little Bethlehem. So thankful for this $98cents store near our house for almost everything I needed was in there. I piled up used box we have here in our cabinets and cover it with green table cloth I bought in the store, since we do not have table where we can put the Bethlehem. And that's the 2nd surprise I have for my hubby... He did appreciated it and commented that I am trully "gumagaling na housewife na daw.." hihi.. natuwa talaga ako. I just love decorating our little home...
Yesterday is such a love day, kahit na masakit palage singaw ko. hehe... I loved the whole day of yesterday. hihi..
See GOD's has always a good plan for me, even if I do not have good news yet for my career as a computer engineer/programmer, still I can make use of my spree time to serve and give happiness to my one and only love, hubby... Love you TRULLY LORD GOD! thank you po...

SunRise...

Today, as I accompanied Hubby on his way to the door as he go to office, giving him my precious and loving kiss and hug, I had witnessed the rising of this wonderful creations of our Almighty God, Sunrise. Not just big round thing, but rather Giant Ball in Golden Yellow rays! So beautiful and mesmerizing! I feel like I need to open our door longer for it to be able to go inside, penetrate his powerful warmth in our little home and bring more blessings and hope in our blessed life. Plus the soft and cool breeze of the wind wrapping up your body which gives relaxing feeling and saying that no matter what and where you go, they are always there beside you, in front of you, at your back and within you giving you support all throughout your lives. Somehow, this autumn season has his way of brightening life’s perspective to someone. And I love the way it gives hope, smile, and happy feeling to me. Life is indeed such a wonderful journey. Thank you Lord God for all the shower of graces and blessings you are giving us. Without a doubt, I am very loved and blessed by YOU. THANK YOU SO MUCH and I LOVE YOU with ALL MY HEART AND SOUL.

Singaw or Canker Sore

I had a small revelations today. It's so funny that at the age of 27, ngayon ko lng nalaman na ang English word for "singaw or ung sugat sa loob ng bibig usually sa gums" is "Canker sore". It just so happen that for 2 days, I am painfully suffering from this wound in my tongue which occurs due to my accidental biting of it. Never noticed it on the first place until I had a hard time eating and biting foods. And when I looked in the mirror, I saw a small red spot wound on top of my left part of the tongue. And according to wikipedia a canker sore or " An aphthous ulcer (aka canker sore) is a type of oral ulcer which presents as a painful open sore inside the mouth or upper throat, caused by a break in the mucous membrane. The condition is also known as aphthous stomatitis, and alternatively as "Sutton's Disease," especially in the case of multiple or recurring ulcers. The term aphtha means ulcer; it has been used for many years to describe areas of ulceration on mucous membranes. Aphthous stomatitis is a condition which is characterized by recurrent discrete areas of ulceration which are almost always painful. Recurrent aphthous stomatitis (RAS) can be distinguished from other diseases with similar-appearing oral lesions, such as certain viral exanthems or Herpes simplex, by their tendency to recur, and their multiplicity and chronicity. Recurrent aphthous stomatitis is one of the most common oral conditions. At least 10% of the population suffers from it. Women are more often affected than men. About 30–40% of patients with recurrent aphthae report a family history". You can read more at this path: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aphthous_ulcer.
And that's what I found when my curiosity triggered and searched it on the net. Sometimes when you cannot think of something or cure for this singaw thing (though for this instant, I already know some medicine or alternative medicine to cure it, but the problem is I do not have it right now, and I do not know if there is "tawas" or "Bactidol" here in America. All I know is back in the Philippines we have this tawas or Alum or Aluminum Hydroxide and bactidol we usually used whenever we had this singaw.), all you can do to immediately ease the pain is go to Mr. Google and search for the treatment. Like what I did. hehe... And now, not only I learned the english term for it but also the possible causes, symptoms and treatment.
So for the moment, I will continue using mouthwash as it helps in the prevention of this singaw thing and hopefully after 3-4 days which is still too long for me, it will eventually healed. I cannot eat well eh. hehehe.... that's all.. Godbless.

My first

This past few days has not been so well to me. I don’t really know why there are no phone calls or even emails regarding my job application here. :-< . How can I get a job? When will it happen? At some point in time, being alone all through-out the day of Monday to Friday, kept me wondering if I will ever get my perfect job here. But, I am not yet worried that I can never get a job, it still early and I know that there is better thing in store for me. I just need to be patience and be appreciative for all the blessings we are receiving.

It’s almost three months since I came here to join my husband and that will be the best thing ever happened to me since we got married :D. It’s like celebrating our honeymoon <:-P, in view of the fact that after our civil marriage in Manila last year, we only spent seven days together because I need to go back to Japan for my work while Hubby will be leaving for America for his Masters’ Degree. Being with him, supporting and serving him like my King was the best thing I am doing now. Living with each other, while we are a million miles away from our families, except for Ate D who lives a 30 minute drive away from where we live-in, are such a wonderful journey to be valued and treasured of. So even if I feel like I am chasing for that career of mine, still there are plenty of beauty in our life to be thankful of. I really love being with him all through-out our married life.

I am a frustrated writer anyway, just want to try if I can eventually put pen to paper all my thought and be happy after doing it. I hate being idle all my life. And since there are no progress in my job hunting, I think its better if just write down what’s happening inside my head and my heart.

So, this is my first journal, as a wife to my loving and very kind husband, my first reflection as I embark in my career hunting, as daughter to my mom , as a sister to all my siblings and my companion for all the things that will be happening in our gifted life here in the Land of Uncle Sam, America. Hope that I can write more... ;)
